Forge Family Weekend

Welcome to Forge!
At Forge, members learn the practical, modern skills they need to bring their ideas to life and to make an impact on the world.

Forge accelerates ideas, provides training in critical skills, and connects students to jobs, opportunities, and a community they'll love. We can't wait for you to get a taste of that during Family Weekend! Stop by Open House on Saturday to meet the community and feel the Forge magic and then sit in on a Skills Course on Sunday to see what we're learning and how we're learning it.

Get to Know Forge
All Weekend
Our house is always open for students to work or hang out - the same is true for families this weekend! Feel free to stop by throughout the weekend to learn more about Forge, check out past student projects, and more. Our doors are open!
Our clubhouse is located on the Corner - we're the green house at #9 Elliewood Ave. There are two paid parking lots on the Corner. The Elliewood Avenue Parking Garage ($3/hour) is directly across the street from our clubhouse and the Corner Parking Lot is located off of University Ave.
Our clubhouse is a historic building that has not yet been updated with necessary accessibility measures. This is a project we are actively working on, but we currently do not have wheelchair access to the clubhouse.
Forge is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to preparing students for successful, happy, and impactful futures. We offer our our programs at extremely low cost (to even free) to anyone and everyone who wants to learn. If you're able to support us in this mission, we would greatly appreciate it. While Forge isn't officially affiliated with the University of Virginia, we know most of our members are university students. With this in mind, Forge will be following the university's COVID-19 Health and Safety Requirements. Masks are required inside the clubhouse. If you'd like to read the full list of those policies, visit the University's Policy Directory.
