What is a showcase?
Every semester, we showcase what our students were able to build by displaying their work and celebrating with a big end of year part.
As our community has expanded increasingly online, we’re opening up showcase attendance to the public to see the awesome projects that our students created.

At Forge, we offer eightcourses that cover everything from data science and software engineering to crypto and digital marketing. Our courses are project-focused and students graduate their course having completed at least 3 projects.
2.Vote on your favorite.
Voting will be open from April 28th - May 8th. You'll be allowed to vote for as many projects as you'd like but you should only submit 1 vote for each project per day

Over 1,000 students each year learn things like design, marketing, and data science through our fun, engaging, community-driven projects and programs. Get involved at Forge
I was incredibly lost when I came to UVA. I did not know what I wanted to do, what I was good at, and what made me feel passionate; and my courses only made those questions harder to answer. However, the incredible experiences, opportunities, and community that [Forge] provided me is irreplaceable and incredibly clarifying. I owe a significant portion of my resume, successes, work experiences, and proudest projects to [Forge].
I always said I wished I had gotten involved in [Forge] sooner while studying at UVA. I joined my second semester of my 3rd year and instantly loved the sense of community. By providing a place for students to congregate and learn new skills that they otherwise may not have thought they could learn, a sense of friendship and support is instilled in the hearts of its students.
I think [Forge] reflects the values that we are taught at UVA and more. The people here want to improve themselves and the world around them and this is clear by the effort they give in the classes they teach, and the many opportunities that are given to students here. [Forge] was a large reason why I chose UVA and I am proud to be part of this family.
Forge's Launch Internship rogram
Gain access to dozens of vetted internship opportunities only available to Launch students. Our team sends 35,000+ emails and makes 2,000+ phone calls to find and vet our company partners each year. Over the past four years, we've built valued relationships with 100+ companies, many of which offer internships only through Launch.
We don't partner with just anyone - we ensure that each company partner will provide real, meaningful projects for interns to work on. We get to know each company and work with their team to create a detailed internship profile full of info that lets you picture what it would really be like to work there. Each profile includes details about the team, pay rate, and workplace culture so you can evaluate if it's the right fit for you before you apply. Once you're accepted into Launch, there's not a full commitment to the program until you confirm an internship you love.
