Lauren's been with Forge since her second year at the University of Virginia. She's now a fourth year. She's a quick-thinking, creative individual who thrives in a fast-pace environments. Through her experiences at Forge, she's discovered a love for marketing, branding, and exploring how to help brands tell their stories.

At UVA, Lauren is studying Media Studies and Cognitive Science, which gives her a cross-sectioned insight into how the human mind works and what influences the decisions people make.

Ben's a fourth year that's been with Forge since his second year at UVA. He believes that the best way to learn is by teaching others. During his time at Forge, he's taught over 70 students the fundamentals of data visualization and machine learning. In designing projects and curricula for these courses, he's learned the enormous potential machine learning has to help tackle some of society's most important problems.

In addition to his coursework in statistics, economics, and computer science, Ben has studied classical piano since kindergarten. In his time away from the classroom, he can usually be found working through particularly frustrating passages of Rachmaninoff or gossiping with his teacher about the private lives of long-dead composers.

Navya's a third year that's been with Forge since her second year at school. She's interested in how data science can be applied to inform positive change to various social causes. During her time at Forge, she's had the chance to put her new data skills to work at a clean energy startup and for local nonprofits who needed data analysis help.

At UVA, Navya is majoring in Systems and Information Engineering with a concentration in Data Engineering. When she isn't volunteering as a Python tutor, you can find her practicing Indian classical dance and taking sports photographs for the student newspaper.
