Forge
A focus on impact
Forge is a 501(c)(3) non-profit school that prepares students with the modern skills they need to make an impact in the world.

At Forge, we believe everyone is responsible for making a positive impact in their community and we try hard to set a standard for other organizations to follow.

Causes that we care about
Climate change
Carbon removal is critical to counteract climate change
Political Engagement
Together we can make changes in society toward a greater good
Diversity & Inclusion
Bringing in different ideas and perspectives lead to better solutions
Just a few of the projects we're currently working on
Carbon removal and renewable energy
We donate 1% of all membership dues and course tuition to innovative carbon removal projects such as Climeworks, CarbonCure, Project Vesta, and Charm Industrial.

We also power our clubhouse with renewable energy in partnership with Arcadia Power.

Helping students vote
We built HoosVoting.org to help students register to vote and make sure that their vote has the biggest impact possible in the 2020 election. We even built a system for students to schedule rides to the polls. We plan to bring this back for future elections.

Setting diversity & inclusion standards
We tackle D&I at multiple levels. Each year, we give away $20,000 in financial aid so that anyone, regardless of economic background can participate. 15% of students receive financial aid from Forge. 54% of aid goes to first-generation college students, and 80% of aid goes to people of color.

We also have strict rules and processes in place to ensure that our leadership selection process encourages diversity & inclusion at all levels of our organization.
And much more to come...
The name Forge evokes a sense of creation and progress. Creating new things, forging new connections, building new ideas, always moving forward...these are all ideas that are core to our mission and values. We feel that Forge speaks to the hardworking, scrappy, and ambitious attitude of our students.
