Launch Tuition
Here is some information regarding tuition that you may find helpful.
How Much is Tuition?
Tuition is $3,900. This covers your training and placement fees.

Is There a Deposit?
Yes, there is a $400 deposit that is due when you receive acceptance to the program. This will be applied toward the $3,900 tuition and payment fees.

Tuition Payment
Company Hire
  1. The company hires you directly as an employee, which means your total compensation for the Launch Internship is determined by the company. The hourly rate is listed on the company profile and your final student contract.
  2. You will pay Forge $3,500 = $3,900* (tuition) - $400 (deposit) on the following schedule:
  3. July 15, 2024: $1,000
  4. August 15, 2024: $2,500
*If you receive financial aid, the tuition payment amounts will be adjusted to reflect the total amount owed. This will be outlined in your final student contract.

Forge Hire
  1. Forge will hire you as an employee to work at the company for which you intern. For all intents and purposes, you are an employee of your internship company, Forge only manages payroll.
  2. You will pay Forge $3,500 = $3,900 (tuition) - $400 (deposit) through payroll deductions throughout the summer.
  3. At the end of your employment, any remaining balance will be due to Forge on September 2, 2024.
‌Breakdown
  1. Forge will pay you $15/hour, and apply the remaining amount of your hourly rate towards your tuition balance.
  2. Your total compensation for the Launch Internship will be at least $5,400 ($15/hour x 40 hours x 9 weeks) before taxes.
  3. For example, if you are being paid $22/hour, $15/hour will be paid to you and $7/hour will be credited towards your tuition. Throughout the summer you will pay $2520 towards your tuition. On September 2, you will owe a remaining balance of $980.

Payment Methods/How to Pay
  1. Zelle
  • If using Zelle, please send your payment to us at hello@joinforge.co and include your name in a note or memo line (e.g., FULL NAME - Tuition Payment 2).
  • If you have a daily limit that prevents you from sending payment in full, you can break up the payments in installments. Please let us know if you plan to do this and add a note in your memo (e.g., FULL NAME - Tuition Payment 2 (1/4)).
